Material for a game I made for an art gallery, which is about... escaping an art gallery.
Made with RPG MAKER XP, I wanted to make a simple game that could be displayed by itself in a gallery. This would include a small tutorial before the player takes control, and a generous timer that resets the game - much like an interactive exhibit would revert back to its home page after inactivity. It also takes place all in one stage, for simplicity... But with dual worlds, the gallery becomes a new place to discover.
I wanted to play with unusual graphics and textures, such as scanning a drawing for use inside the game. Hopefully, the title screen shows off the hand drawn style I wanted to convey.
